St. Asaph Brayshaw

On this day in 1820 Florence Nightingale was born:

Born into a wealthy and well-connected British family in Florence, Italy, she was named after the city of her birth, as was her older sister born at Parthenope.

Good job I wasn’t named after my city of birth… although “St. Asaph Brayshaw” does have a certain ring to it!
